Z39.50 is an international standard protocol used for information retrieval, which enables the searching of different systems through the use of a single interface.  To connect to Alma from an external system via Z39.50, use the information below.  The default configuration is:

a.            Server: pascal-<site>.alma.exlibrisgroup.com [e.g., pascal-atc.alma.exlibrisgroup.com]

b.            Database: 01PASCAL_<site> [e.g., 01PASCAL_ATC]

c.             Port: 1921 (if 1921 does not work, try 210)

For more detailed information about Z39.50, see Ex Libris' Developers' Network page: https://developers.exlibrisgroup.com/alma/integrations/z39-50/
