No, the operator does not have to add a barcode at the time of receipt.


In Receive New Material:

Before selecting Receive, the operator has the option to input a barcode and/or make edits to the item inventory record.  A barcode can be added at this time via Manage Items in the ellipses menu.  The ability to edit the item is available through this option as well, should the location or other physical item details need to be added or changed.

If item is not barcoded at this time, it can be done later when necessary cataloging and processing is done.
